Louis Masur is a Distinguised Professor of American Studies and History at Rutgers University. He is a cultural historian who has written several books and articles on a wide range of historical topics. He has a unique way of taking a historical event, bring it to life and show how it affected us today. Mr. Masur will speak on the rivalry between Hamilton and Jefferson and how it influenced our government of today.
Tom Toro has been a cartoonist for The New Yorker since 2010. He has an undergraduate degree from Yale where he graduated cum laude. Since childhood he has been a doodler and this has evolved into his insightful and hilarious cartoons. What makes them work is the caricature of the absurdity in human interactions.

Kym Worthy is the first African-American woman to serve as prosecutor in the state of Michigan. Ms. Worthy received a law degree from Notre Dame University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. She gained notoriety for prosecuting then Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.
Gioia Diliberto is an author who writes books about women's lives and fashion history. Ms. Diliberto's work has been praised for bringing rich historical moments to life. Her talks offer entertaining pictures of how fashion affects our world. She will explain how women began to dress to show off and how fashion became a social and cultural force.
